Sales Executive – Production

Job Description

LowLightKing Productions is a specialized ad production company that focuses on creating content to drive brand awareness, consideration, and conversions.

Key Objectives

As a Sales Executive at LowLightKing Productions, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients, pitching concepts, and converting and closing projects for various types of film production requirements, such as corporate films, explainer films for products/services, commercials, live streaming, podcasts, or any other film production needs. Understanding client requirements, preparing and sharing quotes, negotiating, and closing film production projects are key responsibilities. You will manage the end-to-end film production process, including all production elements, team members, and vendors, while maintaining direct communication with clients from the initial confirmation through to project completion. Daily responsibilities include monitoring and communicating project status, coordinating schedules, tracking client deliverables, and ensuring the success of each project from quote to final deliverables.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Acquire new clients under the guidance of the Client Lead, manage and maintain existing accounts and client relationships.
  • Facilitate conversations between the client and the creative team from ideation to implementation, ensuring the creative vision is executed within budget and scope.
  • Collaborate with the Client Lead to ensure the budget aligns with the client’s needs and goals.
  • Coordinate with the Client Lead, Technical, and Show teams to ensure sufficient personnel are available to successfully complete the project.
  • Work closely with the Technical Team to determine crew assignments based on production and venue requirements.
  • Ensure all project requirements are met in collaboration with the Client Lead, Technical, and Show teams, considering venue capabilities, budget, labor agreements, policies, and available resources.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and ensure timely payment collection from clients as per the project payment schedule.
  • Ensure effective communication and documentation with both internal team members and the crew. Update and revise documents promptly and accurately.
  • Oversee vendor conversations alongside the Production Coordinator and the Technical team, leveraging expertise to ensure project quality.
  • Emphasize continuous improvement by valuing both receiving and giving feedback.
  • Attend initial client meetings with the Client Lead to assess the production viability of the project.
  • Manage and track daily client requests related to all production elements.
  • Oversee approved project budgets and Scopes of Work (SOW), managing changes, tracking change orders, aligning internal personnel, vendors, and freelancers while maintaining profit margins.
  • Update project onboarding documents and confirm freelance production team members have completed necessary paperwork and contracts before starting.
  • Schedule weekly team meetings and additional check-ins as needed.
  • Adhere to the master workback and production schedules.
  • Assist with project pitches, initial budgets, and special projects as needed.
  • Prepare rental and purchase orders for necessary equipment and supplies in collaboration with the Technical and producing team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with an ad agency, film production company, event management, or production experience in the media and entertainment industry (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Cost Sheets, Budgeting, and Numbers.
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, communications and project management tools, such as Teams & Office Suite.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the entire film and film production process (pre-production, production, post-production) and filming equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing conversations and projects concurrently.
  • Strong knowledge of film production elements, terms, and processes.
  • Solid understanding of the competition and production capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with CRM systems and processes.
  • Valid Indian Driving license.
