Legal

Nine documents. Each one says what it decides, and all nine were last revised on the same day.

  • Privacy

What personal data we hold, why, on what lawful basis, and how to make us delete it.

  • Terms and conditions

The contract every engagement runs on: scope, payment, ownership, liability, arbitration.

  • Cookies

What this site stores in your browser, what the embedded third parties store, and why there is no consent banner.

  • Data processing agreement

Our standing processor terms, including GDPR Article 28 and CCPA service-provider clauses. Countersigned on request.

  • Data storage and retention

Where every category of data sits, how long it stays, and who deletes it.

  • Security and disclosure

How client material is protected, and how to report a vulnerability to us.

  • Refunds and cancellation

Deposits, kill fees, and what a cancellation costs at each point.

  • Accessibility

The conformance target, what is measured in the build, and the known gaps.

  • AI and synthetic media

Where AI is used, what is never generated, who labels what under which law, and the rule that client material never trains a model.

If you are running a vendor review

The five documents a procurement or security review usually asks for are here rather than behind a request: the data processing agreement, which carries the Article 28 terms, the 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses and the technical and organisational measures as an annex you can attach; security and disclosure, which states what we do not hold as plainly as what we do; the retention schedule; the AI and synthetic media policy, including the rule that client material never trains a model; and the accessibility statement. A countersigned DPA, a completed security questionnaire and a VPAT are each issued on request to productions@lowlightking.com.

Revision

All nine documents were last revised on 18 September 2026. Where a signed Master Services Agreement or Statement of Work says something different from anything here, that signed document governs.
